How to Respond to Customer Reviews on Google Places
Google Places provides an excellent opportunity for local business owners to advertise their business for free on Google search results pages (SERPs). A Google Places listing is similar to a business listing you would find in the Yellow Pages except you can upload pictures and videos, fill in detailed business information, and respond to customer reviews which appear on the bottom of your Google Places business listing page (Beat that, Yellow Pages!).
In this one-minute video, we will demonstrate how you can use your Google Places listing as a tool to respond to customer reviews publicly. If you haven’t claimed your business on Google Places yet, you’ll need to do that first.
Every business receives good and bad reviews on Google Places. Writing a response as the business owner show the customer that you have acknowledged their comment and that you care about their opinion.
Watch this short video below to learn how you can respond to customer feedback on Google Places and show your customers that you’re really listening.
