AMRCON is a managed services and IT support provider based in Matawan, New Jersey. Before they came to Avelient for search engine marketing (SEM) six months ago, AMRCON had an established Website (that we designed), but they weren’t seeing the level of traffic they were hoping for when they made the push for a stronger online presence.
Realizing they needed to take action to increase the level and quality of traffic they were receiving, AMRCON approached Avelient SEM with the goal of improving their search rankings and establishing more routes to their Website that would bring them the level of traffic they needed for online marketing success.
To jumpstart their campaign, we combined our Local & Organic SEO package with our blogging package.
We started with keyword research to determine how people in New Jersey searched for managed services online and which of those keywords would bring the highest amount of quality traffic to the site.
Then, we began optimizing AMRCON’s current website for those keywords, adding additional pages of content for some of their new services, and publishing three unique, informative blog posts per month to keep their Website fresh and up-to-date.
After we had optimized the Website, we went about polishing AMRCON’s offsite presence. This part of our process included claiming and optimizing their Google Places, Yelp, Yahoo! Local, and Bing Local profiles along with many other Internet directories to help increase their level of exposure.
Search engine optimization is a process that takes time and effort to achieve outstanding results. But in just half a year, AMRCON’s Website has already seen a significant increase in their rankings and traffic.
Their overall traffic has increased by 44.21% and the amount of unique visitors (e.g. visitors that have never visited their site before) has increased by 66.78%. In fact, in the most recent month, over 80% of the traffic they received has been from new visitors, an accomplishment that can be easily linked to their organic search traffic which is up by 33.7% and continues to rise every month.
Not only has their amount of traffic increased, but the quality of traffic—which can be estimated by the amount of time a visitor spends on the site and the amount of pages they visit—has drastically improved as well. Their number of pageviews has increased by 17.12% and the average time on site has risen from two to five minutes per visitor.
